Only ~6 days left! What will I do with myself afterwards? Anyway I passed through the lovely Helmsdale today. What a great entrance it has too.

I passed through Golspie and Brora and both lovely places they were. I also saw a wonderful pair of old petrol pumps and an Iron Age Broch. And here’s me thinking nothing would happen up this way.

Where have I been? I been in bed being sick that’s where. I’ve finally managed to go for a cycle today. I passed the lovely Loch Fleet and just reached the village of Golspie. Also the first half of my video got corrupted so you might notice some repeated footage.

I passed through Tain today and crossed over the Dornoch Firth bridge. It’s getting quiet now… not many people up this way. Mostly just cyclists going to John O Groats.

Ever get that urge to just drop everything and go somewhere? I had that today. Fortunately I could just put on my goggles and scratch that itch! 🙂

FINALLY! I’m back. After 2 weeks I’m on the road again. Sorry about that, I had an unexpected visitor. Anyway I passed through Evanton and Alness.

Lots of stuff happening today. I passed through Conon Bridge, Maryburgh and Dingwall. Also I made it to 1300km! But I’m sad because there’s so few days left in my journey.

I passed through Inverness! And there was much rejoicing. I’ve also created the final part of my journey in Google Maps so I’m getting close. I’ve made it so I’ll stop as close as possible to the famous John O Groats sign post. Exciting!

Again nothing much to report but I managed to make it to the outer edge of Inverness. I might do a bit of Nessie spotting. BTW the first half of the video didn’t record properly again for some reason. sigh.

Not a whole lot to report. It was “Dress Like a Wookie Day” today. Also I passed through Tomatin and Moy and saw a few nice/unusual bridges… if that’s your thing.
