Rugged. That’s how I’d describe the countryside. Hairpin bends and sheer cliffs was what happened today. Also I passed through the lovely little Berriedale.

I passed through Golspie and Brora and both lovely places they were. I also saw a wonderful pair of old petrol pumps and an Iron Age Broch. And here’s me thinking nothing would happen up this way.

I passed through Tain today and crossed over the Dornoch Firth bridge. It’s getting quiet now… not many people up this way. Mostly just cyclists going to John O Groats.
